Nandi represents Satsanga (Hindi – सत्संग, English – Meditation). Nandi is the attendant or doorkeeper of lord Siva. He is the Vahana (Hindi – वाहन, English – Vehicle) of Lord Siva. ^{Dhokra art is one of the earliest known methods of non-ferrous metal casting known to human civilization. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 4,000 years and is still being used.  Currently this craft form is prevailing mostly in to the States of Pashim Banga, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand of India. On a relatively unknown basis this craft form is also prevailing in the southern states of India and some villages of Himanchal Pradesh.  A very fine example of this very traditional & ancient art is the dancing girl of mohenjo-daro.}
