A wire is a single, usually cylindrical, flexible strand or rod of metal. Wire is usually pliable metallic strand or rod made in many lengths and diameters, sometimes clad and often electrically insulated, used chiefly for structural support or to conduct electricity. Crating an artifact out of wire is not a usual art form and perhaps it’s a unique expertise possessed by only those people who are fascinated by Wire. Though most of the artisans using wire as a medium or platform to depict their imaginative ideas uses strong and thick wire, however some artisans in India uses a very soft strand of wire to create a canvas like painting using wire as their medium.
