Deuce Buddha Repose - Exemplary Stone Carving

^{The stone sculpture shown here is unique in itself and done for the first time. As all of us knows that artisans over the period have depicted Buddha’s face in various forms and most of the time he has been depicted having curly hairs and simultaneously with plan combed hair as well. Hence, we thought of making one single sculpture depicting both ways together and here it is, one sculpture having half face with curly hair and the other side is the same face with plain combed hair.}

^{Its made out of soft stone and made by artisans from Uttar Pradesh, India. The challenge faced was to design the symmetry of face from both side and it wasn’t very easy. Many a time carving form of crafting doesn’t allow you to revisit the work already done and make corrections. Hence you need to be perfect with imagination as to what exactly the requirement is and how do you outline it over the stone and keep moving without making any mistake. Isn’t it brilliant?}
