The process of these handcrafted artwork starts with selectively choosing the Betelnut pieces to meet the design structure of the artwork. Once selection of betelnut is done, the artisan needs to cut, chip and carve beetel nuts to meet the artworks requirement and then assemble the pieces according to the design. The entire process is quite troublesome and time taking. Further many a time the betalnut cracks and breaks while cutting, chipping and carving.
